CATCH UP (Coordinated Approach to Children’s Health in the Upper Peninsula) is a childhood obesity prevention program focused on engaging local schools in building a healthy learning environment for all students. CATCH UP promotes healthy eating and regular physical activity through an acclaimed, evidence-based curriculum. Classroom lessons along with supportive school activities and policy will ensure that CATCH UP has broad reach in all funded schools and after-school sites.

CATCH UP is funded by a federal Rural Health Outreach grant and is coordinated by the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department.
